The Merchants House Shop are looking for a full time assistant to help them run the shop during the week. The successful candidate will work a minimum of 30 hours a week, over 5 days to include weekend work. The days required are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Sunday working will only be required throughout November and December.
Main responsibilities to the post:
To sell to customers and have a high level of customer service and professionalismTake ownership of the stock room and maintain order To take deliveries of stock, check quality, price accordingly and help display in the shopEnsure the shop is cleaned and hoovered daily before opening and keeping the staff kitchen clean |
The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, organised and flexible with hours of work. We require someone with at least 1 year of retail experience in the same or similar product area. Rate of pay is £11 per hour.
