Ramsbury Primary School, near Marlborough, is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Teaching Assistant to work within our school. This role also includes whole class teaching opportunities, as either a Cover TA, or as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
This full-time role involves providing TA class support in the mornings, with cover HLTA duties in the
afternoons, including following teacher lesson plans to deliver quality teaching and learning, as well as
providing cover at short notice if the need arises.
The successful candidate will:
- have GCSEs at Grade B or above in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
- have experience of covering classes, and may meet HLTA standards or equivalent qualification
- have an ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults
- have strong organisational skills, manage time effectively and be flexible and creative
- hold high expectations of themselves and of the children

We have been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted, we are an English Hub and a National Support School. In these exciting times for our school, we are looking to recruit a new member of staff to join our team. This part-time position is working Monday to Friday, term time only.
We are a very successful one-form entry school situated in a lovely, thriving and supportive village, easily accessible from Swindon (20 minute drive) or East Wiltshire. Visits are welcomed and warmly encouraged.
Start date: Monday 31 October 2022, or as soon as possible
End date: Thursday 31 August 2023, with the possibility of a permanent contract
Salary: Wiltshire Council Grades E to H (£20,043 – £27,514 FTE)
