This is a reminder to our readers that tickets for the tenth anniversary Marlborough LitFest go on sale later this week – on Thursday, 11 July 2019.
The LitFest Committee have brought together a programme featuring a large number of varied and high value authors and events – including a fascinating selection of the entertaining and the intriguing for the Children’s LitFest.
Last year there were queues at the White Horse Bookshop early on the opening morning of ticket sales – lots of parents and grandparents keen to get the fast diminishing number of tickets for the David Walliams event.
Do not miss out on this year’s feast of talent for children (Cressida Cowell (Knock Three Times), David Baddiel (Head Kid), Chris Riddell (The Cloud Horse Chronicles: Guardians of Magic) and many others. And, of course, the many authors popular with adult ticket buyers – from Joanne Harris to Ben Okri, from Ian Rankin to Raynor Winn and from Mike Pitts to Robert Harris.
