Platinum Jubilee – Thursday in the High Street
2 June 2022 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Street Party – 2pm – 5pm. High street to be closed and turned into a Party Area with tables, chairs and of course the locally produced Bunting
Entertainment – On the big stage, compered by BBC Radio Wiltshire local bands Marcella and Barrelhouse will be performing.
Lots else as well.
Street entertainers will tour the tables to enchant young and old: for the little ones, there will be face painting and balloon modelling too.
Every child can be king or queen for the day, with activities in the Town Hall for them to make their own crown (free of charge).
There will be a fancy dress parade setting off at 3pm so your children can really get into the party spirit! They could dress as a favourite book character, someone from history, a favourite animal or even a train – the sky’s the limit!
