A Dylan Chambers talk on Bread
At the Wesley Hall, start 7:30pm
Dylan will explain his background (he has represented some of the biggest song
writers in the UK) and why he started making bread professionally.
He will provide a short history/evolution of grains, bread and bread making.
The rise of gluten and wheat allergies/intolerance and the real backstory behind this recent surge.
He will explain the way supermarket bread is made today and the lack of clear labelling,
misinformation so-called sourdough breads for sale.
He will run through some of his teaching courses.
The evening will conclude by sampling a selection of breads he will bring along with him.
