Andrew Rumsey, instore at Sound Knowledge

Sound Knowledge have announced:
We’re delighted to announce that Andrew Rumsey will be launching his brand new album ‘Evensongs’ with an instore performance on the evening of Thursday 13th July from 6.30pm.

Andrew will be familiar to many of you as the Anglican Bishop of Ramsbury, whose work as lead bishop for church and cathedral buildings has fed into his writing on the relationship between theology and place. It’s an interest that runs through ‘Evensongs’, a collection of self-penned songs in part inspired by the Wiltshire landscape and recorded in All Saints Church, Ham with David Perry on guitar.

The album is due out on Gare du Nord Records (whose roster also includes Darren Hayman, Twink, Pete Astor) and we’ll have copies available on the night.
