After a gap of two years, Marlborough Rugby’s popular ‘Summer Ball’ returns to The Common on 4th June, the first Saturday in the month.
This year’s summer ball will mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration, falling on that weekend.
The Summer Ball is a ‘dinner and dancing’ event, kicking off with a three-course dinner, and with an auction and raffle draw being held between courses.
Prizes and lots have been supplied by many of the local businesses within the town and local area, all wanting to help support the Club to raise the much-needed funds for the development of the third training area on the Common. Once complete this will provide a much-needed training facility for the youngsters of the club, many of whom will likely go on to feature in the club’s next generation first XV.
After the dinner – the music and dancing will start. Guests will be dancing their way late into the evening, helped by the Electric Show Band and a DJ.
Tickets will be £80 each is purchased before 8 April or £85 if bought later.
For tickets, e-mail the club at events@mrfc.co.uk
