The Eat Nourish Love (ENL) Autumn Fair – formerly the Early, Early Christmas Fair – will be happening again at Tedworth Parlk in Tidworth on Tuesday and Wednesday next week (24 and 25 September). The Fair is supporting Walking With The Wounded and Horatio’s Garden.
For over 30 years, the fair has been an integral part of the community. Originally known as the Early, Early Christmas Fair it began as a charming local event which has now evolved into the Eat Nourish Love Autumn Fair, rebranded this year to focus on inspiring people and giving back in new ways.
It is more than just a fundraiser – it is a cherished community gathering that brings together businesses, volunteers, and supporters from across the region. The fair features over 120 small businesses, offering a range of products from fashion to food, and marks the beginning of the bustling pre-Christmas season for many stallholders. With its friendly atmosphere and reputation as one of the most welcoming fairs, it attracts shoppers looking to kickstart their festive shopping.
For the first time this year, as part of the rebrand the fair will also host seven exciting speaker events, featuring names like Liz Earle and General Nick Carter, formerly Chief of the Defence Staff who will be presenting on ‘A New World Disorder’. Each talk is charged, at £20, and the proceeds from General Carter’s talk go to ‘Supporting Wounded Veterans’.
As well as offering two days of shopping and inspirational talks there is an Evening Reception on the first day – Tuesday 24 September. Set against the backdrop of the scenic polo grounds near Tedworth House, it is an event that celebrates the best of community spirit, volunteerism, and local business collaboration.
Of the two supported charities, Walking With The Wounded (WWTW) is an important and esteemed charity aiding veterans in their transition to civilian life. This organisation plays a crucial role in providing essential services to those who’ve served their country, focusing on overcoming physical, mental, and social hurdles.
