NFU Mutual Marlborough Office held a Charity Ball on Friday 10 June 2022 at Chalk, Rushall and raised £8003 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Organised by staff member Sam Edwards, 110 guests attended.
The guests were NFU Farming Members and the compère for the evening was the NFU Branch Chairman, David Homer. The evening began with a champagne reception, followed by platters of delicious food, a raffle, auction and dancing the night away to a disco.
Air Ambulance Pilot, Elvis Costello, also attended the evening and gave a short speech about his work and the importance of fund raising in the community.
Auction and Raffle prizes were donated by very generous local companies and individuals.
Agent John Hardman and ball organiser Sam Edwards visited the Wiltshire Air Ambulance HQ yesterday (13 July) to present the cheque. John & Sam were welcomed on site by Hollie Perryman, Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator and the cheque was presented to Pilot, Elvis Costello and Paramedic, Ben Button. They were shown around the HQ and the working of the all-important Helicopter.
