Pewsey’s winter sports champ Shelley Rudman will not be competing in the coming season as she is expecting her second child.
Announcing this on her website with a ‘Breaking News – Exciting News!’ headline, the skeleton bobsleigh slider said that she, her husband Kristan Bromley and their daughter Ella were “super excited’.
Shelley, who is 33-years-old and shot to fame in the with an OIympic silver at Turin in 2006 wrote: “I will not be competing in the forthcoming competitive season and defending my World Championship title.”
Shelley and Kristan, who is also a world champion skeleton competitor, and Ella are currently living in Sheffield.
