Mike Kennedy, Marlborough Community Fundraiser for the Prospect Hospice, is looking for local people to join a new fundraising support group in the Marlborough area.
An information evening will be held at Savernake Hospice on Thursday, March 17. With doors open at 6.30pm and a 7.00pm start, it should last about an hour.
The aim is to tell Marlborough supporters of the Prospect Hospice and its outreach centre at Savernake Hospital, about the work of support groups and how they raise funds.
The Hospice’s support groups in other areas put on monthly coffee and cake mornings and larger events such as barn dances and Christmas markets.
