Tom Walker back at the College Memorial Hall, presented by Sound Knowledge – matinee added

After the original performance sold out in less than 24 hours, we’re delighted to announce an additional earlier performance on the same day. It’ll be the same set as the later show but will begin at the earlier time of 6pm.

It’s been five years since we last welcomed Tom Walker to the stunning setting of Marlborough College Memorial Hall for the second of two performances for us that year as his debut album ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ hit No. 1 on the way to going Platinum, thanks to massive singles like ‘Leave A Light On’ and ‘Just You and I’. We’re delighted to announce that Tom will be back with us in the same venue on Friday 27th September to celebrate the release of his much anticipated second album ‘I Am’.

The intervening years have seen a Brit Award, sold out shows across the globe and even a performance with The Princess Of Wales in Westminster Abbey where she joined Tom on piano for a memorable version of his track ‘For Those Who Can’t Be Here’.

Tom now makes a powerful return, sounding like you’ve never heard him before. Connecting with millions thanks to his powerful accounts of other people’s stories, he now finds himself writing about his own personal struggles and anxieties, creative challenges, sadness and moments of despair. It is a sometimes visceral account of who Tom Walker is in 2024, hence the title: I Am.
