In this talk Jo Badger charts the development of women’s fashion during Queen Victoria’s reign, with an emphasis on the clothing worn by Victoria and her descendants.
Jo Badger Historic Costumes has been in the business of making historic clothing of all eras since 2000. Jo’s clients include English Heritage, National Trust, National Portrait Gallery, British Museum, many museums and historic sites throughout the UK. Each commission is different, which keeps everything fresh and through this work Jo gather lots of interesting information whilst researching garments and this leads to a fascinating catalogue of knowledge which forms this great talk on a very interesting period in fashion influenced by one of England’s great monarchs, Queen Victoria.
