Platinum Jubilee Sunday – Royal Platinum Picnic on The Common – Organised by Rotary

A full-blown event, with live music, food of all types, fairground-type rides for the children, and sports activities run by Marlborough Sports Forum.  Organised by Marlborough & District Rotary, there will be a Climbing Wall to set the pulses racing, Robert’s Famous Hog Roast, as well as a running barbecue, pizzas, and of course  – the standard picnic food, jelly and ice cream.  (Rotary are happy to give the jelly away, but the ice cream will come from the van).   There is also a bar running all day in the Rugby Club, and free tea and cake for any of our older folk.
