Kymee Cleasby – Liberal Democrats

Who I Am
Kymee Cleasby is a Marlborough resident, mother, and grandmother who lives in the heart of town. She is a successful local business owner, employing over 20 people and contributing actively to Marlborough’s local economy. With a career that spans the corporate world and the charity sector, Kymee brings wide-ranging experience to public life.
She has served as a director on the board of an international charity, and she founded a national campaign addressing binge drinking in young women – featured BBC1,3 and national media – helping shift how universities approach pastoral care.
Locally, Kymee founded Love Marlborough Kids Meals, which now supports over 50 families weekly and has been featured in regional TV, radio, and press.
Her commitment to social justice, community resilience, and practical action defines everything she does. Whether supporting local families or driving forward flood plans, Kymee is driven by compassion, experience, and a strong sense of civic duty.
Reason to Vote for Me
My work has always focused on strengthening communities—through business, charity, and public service. I understand what it takes to run a business, having built and managed local enterprises that now employ more than 20 people here in Marlborough. My corporate experience gives me insight into strategic planning, while my leadership in the charity sector keeps me grounded in compassion.
I have worked tirelessly on the key issues affecting our town, from a comprehensive flood plan, improving traffic management, or championing concerns on local housing. I have also worked hard to help revitalise our local economy and support independent traders. I am working towards reducing traffic in the town by supporting de-priming the A346. As a businesswoman, backing local businesses matters to me.
I bring this same balance of practicality and heart to my work in local government. I know our town well—not just its policies, but its people. I’m committed to representing your concerns with integrity, experience, and a clear vision for a fairer, more resilient Wiltshire.
My three top priorities are Traffic – Fairer Housing – Re-vitalising our Historic Market
