Part of the road linking the A4 to Great Bedwyn – the most direct route from Marlborough to Bedwyn Station – is closed for six weeks. There is a lengthy diversion along narrow roads.
The closure of this road began on February 19 and will last until April 3. Buses between Marlborough and the station are having to take the diverson.
The closure is for major work being carried out by a contractor for Thames Water replacing an old water main through Forest Hill.
