Charlotte, a pupil at Marlborough St Mary’s, has been presented with a prize at Devizes Eisteddfod for exceptional work in the category 3D Art Work (School years 5&6).
The judges commented: “Such a creative textile piece! The exquisite construction of each pieve, the composition, the limited palette of colour, the display and even the title are exceptional! Very, very well done.”
Beckie Ambrosini, Art Lead at Marlborough St Mary’s, said, “Charlotte has demonstrated exceptional creativity and technical skill in her award-winning sculpture. Her innovative use of crochet and light is both imaginative and inspiring. We are all very proud of Charlotte.”
