Ex St John’s student, Lizzie Lewis, is taking her Tall Tales theatre company to The Watermill Theatre on Tuesday February 18th at 10.30 for a special re-telling of Rumpelstiltskin.
Lizzie says, “It’s a magical, mystical, musical tale of madcap and mayhem, retelling the Grimms’ classic “Rumpelstiltskin” in our unique Tall Tales style. Suitable for all the family to enjoy!”
Written and adapted by Lizzie, the performance includes original music by Dave Stephens.
Bonny longs for a different life; to escape her small world…. when a strange encounter offers her all she could imagine…where will her dreams lead her?
“Turn your dreams over the wheel, like a rainbow in the sky”
Stay after the performance for a fun-filled day for all the family from 10am – 2pm. With craft activities, drama game sessions, a music corner, dressing up and a trail around The Watermill gardens. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Lizzie commented, “We so loved sharing our stories with the Marlborough audiences at the Literary Festival last year, (we’ve been booked again for this year too!) we’d love to see some of our Marlborough audience there!”
