St Peter’s will be closed temporarily during the coming month whilst ‘essential work upgrading and maintaining the building‘ is carried out.
The Trust issued the following statement:
The Trust of St Peter’s Marlborough announces a temporary closure of the building for the next three to four weeks. This closure is due to essential work upgrading and maintaining the building under our guardianship. Recently, the fire alarm system was upgraded and during work in the kitchen area, we uncovered a greater degree of damp than expected.
We are working hard to reopen the Cardinal Coffee Shop as soon as the kitchen work is completed. The possibility of holding some events will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
If anyone any enquiries regarding events the Trust ask that they contact sarastpetersmarlborough@gmail.com
