On Friday The Parade Cinema was hit by a major technical failure in the sophisticated projection system that is at the core of the operation. No screenings have been able since then and the following notice has been issued
Dear valued customer,
We very much regret that we have been unable to screen any films since Friday morning. This is due to a fault with our projector.
The problem is unfortunately yet to be resolved, even with our team of service engineers working all weekend.
It has been concluded that we need, at a minimum, a replacement part for a major component within the projector. We will have further knowledge of when this will arrive on Monday 10th November.
We hope to be back in the film business very soon and sincerely apologise for having to cancel all showings in the meantime.
All customers who have been directly affected so far have been contacted individually. We appreciate the distress and disruption this may have caused to our extremely valued customers, and thank you all for your patience.
We will be in contact tomorrow should we anticipate that any further bookings from Tuesday 11th November onwards will be affected.
We will be open in the daytime for our usual friendly coffee and lunch service.
Please do contact us if you need any further information, and we will help the best we can.
With good wishes,
The Parade Cinema Team
The Cinema is still open for food, coffee tea and drinks – and popcorn – and open again soon for films and live screenings.
