“Zaika Inn is back! Astonishingly, it was if the last six months had never happened.
Last summer, Zaika Inn on London Road suddenly closed, and we were all unsure if it could ever reopen.
Yet on Thursday, February 20, one year to the day since it last reopened after the great flood of 2024, the lights were on and Mr Din and his team were welcoming customers again. And they came in droves. First night, full house.
From our fantastic meal we can say that the menu (freshly presented) is the same, the quality is the same – in other words, Marlborough’s outstanding Indian is back with a bang.
More than this, the warmth of feeling in the room was palpable – go!”
