Sirs,
For a variety of reasons, I’m increasingly concerned about the enforced digitisation of everyday life, but I have never seen any reference to the impact this must be having on people with low incomes.
When people are said to be suffering from a choice between eating and heating, how are they managing the continual update & replacement of the multiple digital devices now required by schools and government services (just to mention the very most essential elements of daily life we’re dependent on)?
How many others are concerned about the breath-taking speed and comprehensiveness with which our lives are being digitised?
Yours,
Judy Hindley
