
Grant Ford Ltd are Independent Fine Art Advisors and Brokers, advising and representing sellers, buyers, collectors and institutions.
PA/Office Manager required for our office in the centre of Marlborough. Working 3-4 days a week (times to be discussed). This is a self-employed position.
Responsibilities would include:
- Proactive/up to speed regarding PA/Secretarial Administrative Systems
- Managing and organising the office and keeping the office tidy.
- To enable new systems to enhance the office efficiency
- Setting weekly meetings and working with other staff members to make sure timelines and priorities are set
- Maintaining office filing systems and keeping records up to date.
- Responsible for stationery and all office requirements
- Diary and contact management and organising travel arrangements
- Typing up and proof-reading Valuations
- Social media posts and mailings
- Updating the website
- Working with framers, restorers, insurers and clients PA
Skills/Knowledge:
The ideal person for this role will be highly motivated, structured, reliable, flexible, and able to prioritise work. Previous experience in a professional office environment with good communication and people skills is required, including absolute client discretion and privacy when appropriate. You will be working in the office on your own at times, so this role and your work would involve initiative and a great deal of planning, to make sure there are always projects being processed and ready to do. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Terms:
The contract will be for an initial three month period, subject to a review. Payment is
monthly by invoice.
