After reading the letter on marlborough.news from Mark Cooper on behalf of the Town Council. I am in total agreement with Mr Stuart Dobson and Mr Simon Bell and was equally astounded at the minority decision to allocate the remaining footpath space to establishments who already utilise part of the footpath with tables and seating for outdoor hospitality.
Adopting part of the road as footpath is not only hazardous but takes away the essential free parking spaces needed. This decision will surely discourage rather than encourage visitors to our town when small businesses are struggling to survive.
