There are a number of refugees now living in Berlin who are very keen to play cricket but need support – they are especially in need of equipment.
The annual Marlborough Cricket Club’s 20:20 match against the Mayor’s XI will donate match fees to this cause. They are also planning a raffle to support the appeal.
The cricket match is on August 3 starting at 6.15pm. Members of Marlborough Churches Together have been asked to support the fixture – providing food and making donations.
