Something Chic opened one week ago at 21A High Street, Marlborough – the former Mystique lingerie shop. Owners, Kristina and David, are keen to provide customers with a wide choice of reasonably priced ladies wear from day to evening. The shop is stocked with a good selection of knitwear, winter coats, tops, trousers, and accessories – costume jewellery, candles from Cornwall, hand warmers, gloves, scarves and hats. And when Marlborough.news visited, the shop was already buzzing with customers.

Lithuanian born Kristina, told Marlborough.news, “Our aim is to provide a different look from the High Street chains. I want to stock comfortable, elegant and reasonably priced clothes that can be worn during the day but still be suitable for meeting a friend in the evening for a meal.”
The shop is achieving this ‘something different’ look by stocking clothes from a wide selection of European designers. As well as British, there are clothes from Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Romanian and Irish designers.
For Kristina, the shop is “a dream come true. I have always wanted to work in fashion.” Both Kristina and David have fallen in love with Marlborough. Kristina commented, “This is where I want to be every day. I love the boutiques, the coffee shops, the cakes, the burgers, everything is the way I like it. It’s as if the town was designed for me!”
Something Chic is open every day from 10am to 5pm, apart from Sunday when it is open 10am to 4pm. If you visit you can be sure of a warm welcome.
