Marlborough LitFest is delighted that Waitrose Marlborough is once again supporting the festival with a donation of their Marlborough Buns to the LitFest Café, which will run during the festival weekend of 25 – 28 September in Marlborough Town Hall.
Mary-Vere Parr, chair of Marlborough LitFest said: “Thanks to Waitrose, Marlborough Buns will once again fuel the festival: they’re a firm favourite both in the café and with the authors in the Green Room as the perfect treat between talks!”
The Festival Café is open throughout the weekend on the ground floor of the Town Hall, providing refreshments for LitFest audiences between author talks and events. The White Horse Bookshop also runs a pop-up bookshop next to the Café to buy books from attending LitFest authors.
The Waitrose ‘Marlborough Bun’ is part of its heritage regional recipe series and is a traditional blend of fruit and dough baked into a rustic mound.
