Rowdeford School pupil, Thomas, aged 14, who suffers from a rare chromosome disorder, has exceeded his target of £500 and raised nearly £2000 for BBC Children in Need. Over the past three weeks Thomas, who lives on Marleberg Grange, completed a 67 mile sponsored trike ride around Marlborough. Every day after school he cycled 2-3 miles and more at the weekend.

His mum, Louise Bradwell, told Marlborough.news, “Thomas has done so well. We have been overwhelmed with the support and kind words from everyone around Marlborough, I’m a very proud Mum.”
Thomas finished the trike ride last Sunday at The Barge Inn, Honeystreet where well-wishers and Pudsey Bear, the Children in Need mascot, were waiting to greet him. Queen singing ‘I want to ride my bicycle’ accompanied his ride through the finishing banner.
Louise commented, “It’s been a really lovely experience – Thomas loved it. We are already thinking about a bigger adventure for next year.”
