The best of the foursomes pairs from across Wiltshire assembled at Marlborough to compete in the Ladies County foursomes championships.
Playing the course at its superb best, early starters Jenny Swift and Ladies club captain Sheila Hubie took the title with a 72. Not only that, second and third places went to Nina Davies/Mandy Cooper and Trish King/Sue Tulloh separated only by countback making a clean sweep for Marlborough.
Ladies club champion, Karen Gosling, partnered by Carol Main were joint best gross on the day but were on the unlucky end of that infamous countback lottery. In fourth place were another Marlborough pairing, Isobel Henry and Pauline Ruddick
