Wiltshire Council will be hosting a ‘webinar’ on Wednesday 24 February (via Microsoft Teams) at 5pm for all prospective candidates and their agents to give a brief as to find out everything they will need to know.
Led by Wiltshire Council’s elections team, the webinar will be an opportunity to find out about the arrangements and logistics involved for standing in the Wiltshire Council unitary and town and parish elections on 6 May.

What will be covered? Main issues such as the election timetable will be talked through in detail, and useful information and links will be shared. Attendees will also have the opportunity to have their questions answered.
Terence Herbert, Wiltshire’s Returning Officer, said: “It’s not an easy decision to put yourself forward for election, so this webinar will be an ideal opportunity for people to find out all they need to know so that they can make an informed decision and feel comfortable about the arrangements.
“Our experienced team will be on hand to provide all the information they need and make it a really worthwhile and productive session for them.”
