Hannah Porter has taken over Robin’s World Travel next door to Waitrose in Marlborough’s High Street. Hannah, who has worked in the travel agency for four years, has renamed the business ‘Travel by Hannah.’
Hannah told Marlborough.news, “I am extremely excited to announce, after what has been an unpredictable year and a lot of hard work, that I am able to launch my own business, shop and travel agency.
This has been one of the hardest years for the travel trade but it has highlighted how important it is going forward for customers to have an ABTA/ATOL protected agent you can trust to book your travel plans worldwide and in the UK.”
Robin’s World Travel celebrated 35 years on Marlborough’s High Street in 2020 and was awarded ‘Best Independent Travel Agency’ in the 2020 UK Enterprise Awards. Hannah is keen to continue the tradition of providing excellent customer service.
During the November lockdown the shop was completely refurbished and Hannah arranged a smooth transition for all existing bookings. “My focus is to provide excellent customer service whilst treating and tailoring each enquiry with the upmost care for every customer whether it is a 2 night ‘bargain’ city break, a 2 week beach getaway or a 2 month long bespoke itinerary.
