Nominations are now open – until 4pm on Friday June 7 – for prospective new Town Councillors wishing to represent Marlborough (West). Nomination Papers must be submitted in person by appointment to Wiltshire Council Electoral Staff at the Chippenham offices.
The venue for delivery of Nomination Papers is: Wiltshire Council, Electoral Services, Monkton Park Chippenham Wiltshire SN15 1ER (to the Electoral Services Staff).

Candidates can make an appointment to submit their Nomination Papers by emailing candidates@wiltshire.gov.uk or contacting the Electoral Services Team on 0300 456 0112.

The election will take place on Thursday 4 July, at polling stations, details of which will be confirmed later, but there will be provisions made for Postal and Proxy Voting.
If no candidates are nominated the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
The role of Town Councillor is an important and responsible position. Decisions are made at Council sessions that do affect the lives, well-being and economic health of Marlborough and the people who live here. So do consider standing as councillor and help to keep democracy alive in Marlborough and help to make life better for everyone who lives here.
