A few weeks ago Stagecoach Marlborough students performed at the Theatre Royal Bath, joining students from six different Stagecoach Performing Arts Schools from across the country. The show – Stagecoach Live – showcased a variety of dance, singing and drama and entertained an audience of around nine hundred.
Chloe Finlay-Black, Principal of Stagecoach Marlborough, told Marlborough.news, “Our students performed a piece inspired by the world of Shrek. They sang, danced and acted to tell the story of how Shrek and Fiona came from unconventional childhoods to go on to find their ‘happy ever after’.
I couldn’t be prouder of our incredible students. They were so professional throughout the event and gave a truly impressive performance. The courage and team work they demonstrated as well as their kindness and support for other performance troupes was wonderful. This will be something they remember for a long time to come.
Anticipation is building for the next chapter in Stagecoach Marlborough’s journey. Looking ahead, students have the exciting opportunity to showcase their talents on another esteemed stage, with a professional performance scheduled at His Majesty’s Theatre, London in October 2024. This upcoming event promises to be another milestone for these budding performers.”
