The Marlborough Community Choir will be helping to raise money for The Great Western Hospital CT Scanner Appeal by performing at the “Sing Out for a Brighter Future” event at Immanuel Church, Upham Road, Swindon on Saturday 25th June 2022. There will be a variety of music performed throughout the day by local choirs and music groups.
There are three sessions : Morning Session 9am – midday; Afternoon Session 12:30 – 5:30pm; Evening Session 6-9pm. Entry is £2 with all proceeds going to the scanner appeal.
Marlborough Community Choir relaunched with its new leader – local musician, Emma Pooley, in November 2021. It was a welcome return, after Covid. The choir celebrates the joy of singing with all levels of singers. The Choir originally started in 2010 and have a long association with the Brighter Futures Charity.
