A few days before Christmas an elderly lady shopping in Waitrose had her bank card stolen as she was leaving the store. The robbery took place around lunchtime, about 1.30pm, on Monday 21 December.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for any information which could lead to the identification of a man and woman who are suspected of stealing her card.
The card was used to withdraw an amount of money from the woman’s bank account later the same afternoon.
PC Steve Drage said: “This was a distressing incident for the woman and we would welcome any information on the suspects and their identities. “If you recognise them or can help with our enquiries please contact me on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
