Ramsbury School’s annual Eisteddfod took place this week – the first time for three years. 58 children from Years 3,4,5, and 6 performed to an audience of parents and grandparents. All those pupils who play an instrument, sing or enjoy public speaking were encouraged to enter.
Visiting adjudicator, Fiona MacArthur, gave each pupil helpful feedback about their performance and presented them with a certificate.
Sian Haynes, Music Subject Leader, said, “It was wonderful to hold our Eisteddfod again for the first time in 3 years. The children taking part played and sang beautifully and it was a real pleasure to listen to such a range of lovely performances – from children who have only been learning a few weeks to some of our more seasoned performers. A huge ‘well done’ to everyone who participated!”
