Ramsbury Single Estate Gin, produced at the Ramsbury Brewery and Distillery has achieved the prestigious Double Gold SIP Award!
The SIP Awards is the only international spirits competition for both established and newcomer brands to decide the very best spirits globally. This medal, awarded to mark the ‘outstanding rank of spirits’, is judged by a diverse consumer panel, and is given to only those products of which the SIP judges would strongly recommend to others.
What’s more, Ramsbury Gin also achieved the Consumer’s Choice Award, which is reserved for spirits that have placed for two or more years and is the ‘ultimate emblem of consumer trust in the quality and taste of the brand’.
The signature taste of Ramsbury Single Estate Gin that has achieved such highly commended awards, is that of a spirit made from Horatio wheat that has been grown, harvested, distilled and then bottled all on the Ramsbury estate. From field to glass, each bottle of gin can be traced back to the very field in which it began its journey. Every part of the process is carefully considered, and it is this that creates such a smooth, aromatic gin – slightly on the sweeter side of a classic London Dry.

First built in 2015, Ramsbury Distillery is based just outside Marlborough and is a part of the wider Ramsbury Estate, which spans over 19,000 acres. The approach is simple: to be as sustainable as possible within a closed loop system. With a biomass boiler to heat the copper stills and the spent grains which are fed to the animals on the farm, nothing at Ramsbury is wasted. From this process and delicate balance of the landscape surrounding the distillery, Ramsbury Gin and Vodka are now both award-winning English spirits.
