The Merchant’s House in Marlborough has reopened to visitors, as announced last month after engineers and surveyors declared the building safe.
‘Free Flow’ visits will be in operation on Wednesday mornings when visitors will be able to see the museum and much of the house. There will be, as normal a charge of £5 for each visit and such visits don’t require advance booking. Just turn up and visit.
But for a formal tour, advance booking is required. Book via the website – www.themerchantshouse.co.uk or by phoning the Trust Office on 01672 511491. The cost of a formal tour will be £10. Visitors will see all of the house and garden.
