A Marlborough based cyber security specialist has scooped a national industry award for its groundbreaking work on security for online payment systems.
Foregenix, whose head office is just off Marlborough High Street, was recognised as the top consultancy company at the Cyber Security Awards, which took place in London.
The 40 strong consultancy team offers a range of services globally, from incident response to penetration testing and is a world lead advisor for the industry’s most exacting standard, Point-2-Point Encryption (P2PE).
Foregenix has completed compliance validation for 47 per cent of the world’s P2PE projects, the latest being Africa’s first validated P2PE payment system.
The Cyber Security Awards were established to reward the best individuals, teams and companies within the industry. The independent panel of judges look particularly for innovation – as well as excellence.
Judge Karla Reffold said: “The industry is moving at an incredible pace, coming up with solutions to keep organisations safe. We all found it incredibly hard to pick the winner in the majority of the categories, as there were some fantastic entries.”
