Last week on Wednesday Marlborough Bowls Club hosted the annual Ladies Coronation Triples Tournament for Bowls clubs from across this area.
Marlborough welcomed over 30 bowlers from clubs within the North Wiltshire bowling community.
With three players representing each club team, clubs played a total of three matches throughout the day and despite the high temperature players kept their cool and displayed a sense of fun and sportsmanship.
As expected when ladies gather there is often plenty of tea and cake, and Marlborough did not disappoint and provided a good selection of homemade treats.
Amsbury were overall winners on the day .
