It may have been the Animals and friends who headlined, but it was Fab4 that changed the weather at yesterday’s (Sat 25 June) MantonFest. A thoroughly enjoyable big party for the sell-out crowd, having a great chilled time, with friends, family (and even pets), with an excellent selection of live music keeping everyone entertained.
‘Here comes the sun’ announced ‘Paul’ of the Fab4 (not the real one, he was just down the road at another West Country Festival, called ‘Glastonbury’) and, almost by a minor miracle the clouds parted and the golden rays of the afternoon sunlight enveloped the sell-out MantonFest ’22 crowd in a warm light.
Not that the weather had been bad before, it hadn’t. Cloudy, overcast, the occasional bit of sun glimpsing through the clouds. Not cold with the very occasional odd drop of light rain, but here did come the sun, bang on cue, courtesy of the Fab4.
