Eversfield Organic Farm Shop with Deli, Butchers, Fishmongers and Wine Cave has opened in the former Edinburgh Woollen Mill/Monsoon shops in Marlborough High Street. The upstairs café and wine bar is due to open this weekend.
The Marlborough farm shop is the third that this family run business has opened – the other two are in Totnes and Tavistock, Devon. A lot of the produce sold in the shop comes from the family’s organic farm on the edge of Dartmoor.
Retail Manager Beth Teare told Marlborough.news, “We source as much as we can from the farm and anything we can’t from as local as possible. The butcher’s counter showcases our native pedigree Aberdeen Angus straight from our farm. The organic deli counter and fridges are full of organic cheese and dairy. The fresh fish counter stocks sustainable fish from UK ports. We have fresh organic bread and a range of wine from organic suppliers all over the world. There is a good range of wine that has no added sulphates. A lot of our market garden fruit and vegetables come from the farm with the rest from the local area.
The café will offer breakfast and lunch and then become a wine bar in the evening serving small plates, tapas style with charcuterie from our farm.
From the beginning of next week we are able to take Christmas orders with home delivery.”
Eversfield Organic also run a successful online grocery box order and delivery service.
Opening hours are Monday to Wednesday 8 am to 8 pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8 am to 10 pm and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. For more information click here
