Christmas is only just around the corner, it’s that time of year again, and on Friday – 18 November – Marlborough’s Christmas Light display will be switched on.
And there will be a Christmas Market in the High Street – which will be closed to traffic from 5pm, reopening again at 8pm.
Santa will be back in the Town Hall, in the Court Room (downstairs) between 4pm and 6pm. From 5pm onwards there will be music from the steps of the Town Hall, starting with MAD (Marlborough Academy of Drama & Dance) followed by Renee, Matilda and Rosie from St John’s, then Daisy Miles – also from St John’s and then Sammy Till-Vattier (St John’s as well).
Then the big Switch-On, and then Amanda and Phil will play once the High Street is glowing with the Christmas Light Display.
