Police are appealing for information regarding an assault which occurred at the Azuza Nightclub in Marlborough.
Shortly before 2:00 am on Sunday 12th October 2014, there was a disorder inside the club involving a group of men and women.
A short time later a 30 year old man from Devizes was assaulted outside of the club and knocked unconscious. Paramedics attended the scene and he was taken to hospital suffering with a dislocated shoulder and a bleed on his brain. Although discharged from hospital he is still receiving treatment for his injuries.
A 27 year old from Tidworth was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He was subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.
DC Mark Tylee said: ‘This was a serious incident which left the victim with significant injuries. I would like to appeal for anyone who saw the attack outside of Azuza to contact us. We have spoken to a number of people but know that there were further witnesses who have yet to come forward and they may have important information to assist with the investigation.’
