People interested in volunteering at Prospect Hospice’s new Outpatient Centre at Savernake Hospital can join members of the Prospect Hospice team at an open evening at the hospital from 6pm on Tuesday 24 March.
With £75,000 raised by the public appeal to open the centre, Prospect is now looking for volunteers with a wide range of skills and experience to help us to run the centre when it opens. At this evening people will be able to speak with staff and current volunteers and learn more about the services and the opportunities for volunteers.
Helping alongside the multi-disciplinary team from Prospect Hospice, volunteers will play a vital role and currently they are seeking volunteers for the centre as support workers, bereavement counsellors, patient and minibus drivers, complementary therapists and front-of house volunteers.
Anyone would like to find out more about volunteering at the new Outpatient Centre can contact voluntary services manager Alison Chapman by email at alisonchapman2@prospect-hospice.net or call her on 01793 813355.
