Action for the River Kennet’s photographic competition this year takes the theme of ‘Celebrating our chalk stream at three locations with great public access.’ The entry window closes at midnight on September 30.
There are two age categories for entries: adult and 15 years or younger. The first prize in each category is a £50 printing voucher donated by Pete Davies Photography.
Of the three River Kennet sites two are in Marlborough: Stonebridge Wild River Reserve and the River Og at Tin Pit. The third site is the Ramsbury Triangle at Mill Lane, Ramsbury.
There is no entry fee for the competition and photos – a maximum of three per person – must have been taken at the three sites in the past year.
Images can include the river and adjoining habitats, wildlife and people.
