Triple marathon running coppers Adam Leakey and Jon Hewlett say they hope to raise over £7,000 for Pudsey Bear once all the donations are counted.
The policemen ran three marathons in three consecutive days – the equivalent of running from Marlborough to London – and crossed the finishing line on Friday, November 16: Children in Need day.
Adam told Marlborough News Online this week: “The aches and pains have all gone and there seems to be no long lasting injuries which is a relief! We have donations still to collect, but based on those pledges, we should have raised around £7,200 for Children in Need.
