Wiltshire Council has confirmed that The Parade will be re-surfaced sometime during the current financial year – that’s by the end of March 2019.
This was announced at Tuesday’s meeting of the Marlborough Area Board (May 15).
The Town Council is being consulted on the most suitable dates for this work to be done.
It will be remembered that there was consternation when Wiltshire Council re-surfaced the puddle zone that The Parade’s central parking area had become, but left the roadway in its very non re-surfaced state.
