The Marlborough International Jazz Festival is making its annual appeal for volunteers to act as stewards at the town’s greatest jamboree, to be held on the weekend of July 18 to 20.
Anyone putting in three hours on the gate on the Friday or Saturday will receive, in return, a Stroller ticket for free entry to events over the entire weekend.
“The 2014 festival is more exciting than ever,” says festival director Nick Fogg. “Artists have been booked from no fewer than 24 countries, including Australia, Austria, Canada, Dominica, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guyana, Hungary, Israel, Ireland, Italy, Mauritius, Russia, Senegal, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, the UK, USA, and Zimbabwe.”
