The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is asking for people’s views on their experience of the South West Ambulance Service.
This is ahead of a formal inspection of the service by the CQC in June.
The South West Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust serves a total of 5.3 million people with an operational area covering Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Wiltshire, Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Swindon.
People are being encouraged to contact the CQC team by the end of May, if they want to tell them about their experiences of care: how calls are handled, how people are treated by ambulance staff and out the out of hours service, or to say where they would like to see improvements made in the future.
The CQC team can be contacted at enquiries@cqc.org.uk or by ‘phone: 03000 616161.
